I broke my toe. I wasn’t sure at first because it was just all swollen, but now that the swelling has gone down I can actually take my fingers and move it in unnatural ways. And I can hear and feel the bone scraping. And it’s still all black and blue. It doesn’t hurt unless I start moving it around and listening to the bone scrape, but I just can’t stop. I’ve never found my toe so fascinating.

I’ve also never broken a bone before. I think this is some sort of milestone. So I’m writing it here in case when I get old I want to remember the time I was strangely fascinated by the sound of my own broken bone scraping together. In fact, I think I’m going to create a tag for easy retrieval.
