Who is this girl?

I’m just a girl born an raised in one small town, currently residing in another, patiently (kind of) awaiting graduation. I aspire to be an Intervention Specialist with a mild/moderate focus and change the world one little life at a time. (Call it delusions of grandeur.) I like movies, and I probably talk about them more than I should. I like music, though my iPod, my sense of musical integrity, and the fact that I’m extremely resistant to change don’t allow me much familiarity with today’s radio favorites. I like books. Though I do occasionally pick up “adult” reads nothing thrills me more than a good children’s book, whether it be a picture book, early chapter book, or YA novel. (I call it “research.”) I like some television shows, probably a little too much, and nothing is more devistating to me than the fact that I can’t get DVR. I like children, most of the time more than adults. I hope to have a couple of my own someday, but that’s a long way in the future. (I mean looong way.) I like my family (as in genuinely like, not love therefore tolerate) and I try to spend as much time with them as possible. I have three siblings who are the light of my life. I have amazing friends, many of whom I wish lived closer to me. I’m generally a pretty quiet person, unless I know you very well or you put a keyboard in front of me. I do like meeting new people, though I rarely let them know that right away. I enjoy chatting over coffee and playing board games. (I’m somewhat dull like that.)
